Wolverine Movie Cometh

GEEKS REJOICE!
Wolverine the movie is on the way. The flick will come under the name “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and it is due in theaters May 1, 2009, according to USA TODAY! The film will trace Wolverine’s past as he discovers the world of mutants and, ultimately, the ominous Weapon X program, which turns people into living weapons.

I love the comic book movies! I can’t wait for Iron Man and The Dark Knight this summer.
Certainly looking forward to Iron man…and Wolverine should make for an interesting movie…such a tortured character. Now that the cinema technology has caught up with the rabid imagination of our comic-strewn childhoods, us forty-somethings can rejoice as the legends are realised properly on the big screen! (one can only wince at that horrid spidey tv movie, where the dude looked like he was wearing blue and red pyjamas. remember “with great power comes great special effects!”
I am so glad that technology has finally come close to capturing the genius of Lee and others so that we can peek into their minds and see the world of mutants in continuous motion instead of cell by cell. Rock ON!
