( News) Typically, the loss of human life is a reason to call 911, but one woman called the emergency services after she was told that a Fort Pierce, Florida McDonald’s had run out of chicken McNuggets.

Latreasa L. Goodman paid for her 10-piece MACK NUGGETS and what did they say from the drive-thru?

They were out of the delicacy.

“This is an emergency, If I would have known they didn’t have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one,” Latreasa L. Goodman later told police. “This is an emergency.”

The woman, 27, was slapped with a misuse of 911 charge, according to records. What she was most upset about was that she didn’t get a refund.

They attempted to force her to get a MACK DOUBLE. No Bueno.

“I called 911 because I couldn’t get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets,” Goodman told police.

The workers at Mickey D’s tried to pacify the woman, but she got more irate and then foolishly dialed 911.

She called again.

And again.

Goodman called three times and then she was told that a cop was on the way.

Little did she know, that cop was coming to charge her with a crime, not provide her with some McSolace.

You know on one hand people might think she was stupid to call 911 over some chicken nuggets. But in my opinion it wasn’t as much about the nuggets as it was about not being able to get a refund. Now if the policy is posted then thats one thing but at the same time they shouldn’t have taken her money without first telling her that they could not complete her order the way she requested. I would have been pissed off too and then for her to be arrested is absolutely ridiculous. Now had she threatened one of the employees then they would have called the police and she would have still been arrested. That was a lose lose situation for her.
She thinks she’s doing the right thing by calling the authorities to notify them that she is in essence being robbed( they took her money for something they knew they didnt have and would give her money back…thats robbery anyway you look at it) and because she isn’t smart enough to articulate her complaint to them in a way that made sense , she gets arrested.

Oh, come on people. You’ve gotta be outta yo motha F’n mind. Are you seriously defending this lady??? This woman was not being robbed in anyway. Sure, she should have recieved a refund (completely agree), but that did not warrent a 911 call. And to say that she thought she was doing the right thing by calling 911???? That’s the dumbest ish i’ve heard all day. First off, the people working the cash register have no way of actually knowing if they have run out of something unless they are told by someone: There’s no indicator that pops up on the screen saying “don’t sell any nuggets, cause we’re out.” That, in itself, is why the lady should have recieved a refund. They didn’t know, and if the woman didn’t want a McDouble, she should have been able to get her money back.

Like regular human beings, however, there are other ways of handling that ish. Like……TALK TO A F’N MANAGER!!!! Not once did it say that the lady asked for a manager. She talked to the f’n cashier. When the cashier told her that, she should have asked for a manager, because it was wrong for them to take her money then tell her that they didn’t have any nuggets. That’s what she should have done, not call 911. That was stupid, and it’s stupid that people are up here saying they would have done the same thing. Guess people just wanna be special ed.

Wow what a dummy! I can understand that if they refused to give her money back, then they would be guilty of theft and she could have contacted police but not call 911. It sure was no emergency!
