LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – (AP) An Arkansas man has been sentenced to prison for fatally shooting a stylist who was taking too long to braid his hair.
Thirty-year-old Kerry Rendall Wilson of Little Rock was sentenced Friday to 24 years for second-degree murder. He will be eligible for parole in six years.
Wilson’s lawyer says his client was high on marijuana dipped in formaldehyde when 39-year-old Henrietta Jones was killed in November 2007.

This is a prime example for why we need gun control in America. This is terrible violence! That poor haidresser’s life died because of one man’s intoxication? She was doing her civil duty-performing her job and she gets shot? That’ is absolutely terrible, esp when this could have been prevented. I wish America’s government valued the lives of its own citizens….
He was responsible for smoking marijuana, so he is responsible of his own acts.
