KIMBO SLICE GETS KNOCKED OUT IN 14 SECONDS

October 5, 2008

Kimbo Slice Got KTFO’d aka An Epic Fail. He’ll be back.

Kimbo Slice was supposed to fight Ken Shamrock, but ended up getting knocked out by Seth Petruzelli.

Within 14 seconds of the first round, Petruzelli landed a short right jab after a pair of kicks. That jab dropped Slice.

Petruzelli then rained blows on Slice until the referee stopped the fight a mere 14 seconds after the bell rang. Kimbo appeared to fight the referee prior to realizing the fight was actually stopped.

EliteXC’s planned for Ken Shamrock to battle Kimbo Slice, but Shamrock pulled out of the fight due to an injury. Petruzelli was quickly replaced as the new opponent for Slice in the event that was televised nationally on CBS

Petruzelli, who weighted in almost 30 pounds under Slice, admitted to the odd circumstances that lead to his victory.

“It was a crappy situation for us both. Both out brains were messed up for the fight. He didn’t train for me, I didn’t train for him,” Petruzelli admitted. “It was a way for me to get my name out there.”

Petruzelli was already cleared to fight in as he was originally in the under card.

Slice conducted a quick post-fight interview, but quickly exited the ringing ignoring the commentator.

The Miami boxer said, “It’s all good. I want to thank this man for taking this fight on short notice. It was unexpected. We still gonna have the after party at [a local Miami venue].”

Petruzelli improves his MMA record to 10-4 and Kimbo Slice’s professional record sinks to 3-1.

STYLE of PRO wrestling feeds into the XC !!!!
oohh..please don’t let the media/columnist kill your initial thoughts of “i think that fight was setup”……no doubt the fight was set-up…despite the mysterious bs of shamerock(also staged), if you review the seconds of the fight ….you could look at petruzelli and tell he had no clue of what was about to happen and looked like he was about to shit his pants… keep in mind the evening news airs that next hour right after the fight….and the news cannot and will back-down to no other program….petruzelli and slice were told how things were suppose to go down and they hand a couple of seconds to make it happen…
lastly..two key things screaming..”its a setup”..and if you can, review the seconds……..slice, with his experience and strength, quickly decided to charge in with the wimpest ,what ever that was,…and just fell !!… now slice(with all his experience) decides not to block at all while layin on the mat…..meanwhile, petruzelli is simply swinging….not even making contact with slice, the guy was just swinging!!!….if you only knew how much money was made off this event by sir slice !!! thus the speedy exit …….cbs needed to spice up the program to keep viewers….another victory by slice would just be another victory by slice….

ok if you have ever watched any Kimbo fights, he doesn’t fight many people that can knock him out. To me, he is overrated, however, I wouldnt fight him and you wouldnt fight him either.
