If skyrocketing gas prices weren’t enough, it is looking like the robots are going to be stealing jobs from the attendants soon. Check this out!
On Monday 4 February, N. van Staveren B.V. and Rotec Engineering B.V. officially launched the TankPitstop. Motorists will soon be able to use this automated fuel robot to refuel and pay, without needing to step outside their vehicles. The TankPitstop is the first automated fuel robot in the world to actually work in practice.
Minister of Economic Affairs Maria van der Hoeven was first to use the TankPitstop. “It’s a spectacular new innovation,” she said. “We can be proud that this world first has been achieved in the Netherlands”.
