THE ART OF CHARLES MANSON

October 20, 2008

Charles Manson was ill in real life – in a bad way. His art is ill – in a different way. If only he had taken a different path in life.

Umm, there are swastikas in that last picture. Unless you’re a Nazi sympathizer, you should probably take that down.

To Hey, before the nazis jacked the swastika. It was a sacred symbol to hindus and buddhists and still is today.Theres always 2 sides to a story.

Well, first: the buddhist/Indian swastika is clockwise, vs. the nazi one which is counter-closkwise… easy to tell the difference between the two. Secondly: there’s this notion that you can’t even mention a particular thing without people thinking you’re shitting on it. Like you can’t even mention Jewish people without being thought of as anti-semetic. You can’t even mention another rapper in your verse without people thinking that you’re dissing him. You can’t mention black empowerment on wax without being an anti-white racist. READ the book BEFORE you decide to burn it.

What I’m sayin’, Seed of Ill, is… don’t take that -ish down. I don’t know of any symbol that’s INHERENTLY and always evil.

Hip-hop, let’s decide to get smarter in ’09. Yes, we can!

didnt even see those itty bitty swastikas – im not takin it down….im not down with any nazis tho and thats real talk. i actually made an overt attempt not to put the ones that repped evil or bad so they could stand alone. it was an oversiight.

Nah it DOESN*T necessarily have to be clockwise, google boy google

Guys if you, look closely at the picture you can see that the swastika goes both ways. It is used both ways also in other cultures as a religious symbol. It is a very important symbol to Hindus, Chinese and Buddhist. Just because some idiot used it for his path of hatred does not mean its bad. If it was surrounded in red with a black circle and a eagle then I would be worried. The Nazis did very horrific things and should not be glorified in any way, but the Jews are doing things to this day that are just as shameful as the Nazis or Pol Pot. We live in an EVIL world and people love to hide behind the mask of righteousness and indifference.

no…don’t take it down… some folks are just afraid of everything…we should learn more about the nazis… if you study history, the less likely you are to repeat it… ignore it, and you’re doomed to repeat it…

    peace

Ignore the mindless robotic anti-free speech blog police. They are brainwashed into decrying any symbol or thought that is un-PC or contrary to their handler’s programming script.

“im not takin it down….im not down with any nazis tho and thats real talk”

It’s your blog. The hate for Jews is strong, though, and thats real talk.

To hey are you on crack? lol

Manson was an evil man but I agree if only he’d taken a different path……. could’ve been a pretty great artist…..aside from being racist and insane.
